The water projects are executed by selected and well-established charity organizations that have been identified for their superior work with water projects. Contribute is working with Pump Aid, a UK based organization founded in 1998 which works with rural communities in Africa and has delivered over 8,300 water and sanitation projects benefitting over 1.25 million people. Their first water pump was undertaken in 1996 and ever since, Pump Aid have understood that; “it’s not enough to just turn up and dig wells”. Their focus is therefore on empowering communities through ownership of their pump and making adequate preparation for sustainability. That first pump, built in 1996, is still in operation today!

Contribute Ltd. also believe it is important to be environmentally responsible. By climate compensating we reduce our carbon footprint, emissions associated with the production, transportation and distribution of our water. By planting trees in the necessary amount the carbon emissions are completely compensated. Contribute is cooperating with the organization Tree-Nation, based in Spain, which has planted more than 760 000 trees up until today. See our "Tree-Planting" Certificate here.
